I help people build sonic identities.

Sound design, composition, and production assets, built exclusively for what you're making.

Whether you are making an album, a sample library, a film score, a game soundtrack or a commercial product, I build original material around your creative direction. Not recycled from existing packs.

Production Assets
Custom tools and materials built for production.

“I need tonally consistent trap drums with unique resonant snares, laser-ish hi-hats, and futuristic 808s.”

My Contribution

(AYN Sounds) Full drum kits built solo.

(AYN Sounds) Synth Mania Vol.2 was built with a collaborator, not solo.

“I need a one-shot library built around textural idiophonic tones with airy resonant notches.”

My Contribution

(AYN Sounds)

“I need a pack of old-timey sounding background noises to glue my track together.”

My Contribution

(AYN Sounds) Textures and accents.

“I need a pack of chord progressions in the style of library cues from '80s detective scenes.”

My Contribution

(AYN Sounds) Chord progressions, melodies, runs and phrases.

“I need dark flute runs in Phrygian, jazzy electric bass with auto-wah fills, and pitched-down melodic vocal runs.”

My Contribution

(AYN Sounds)

“I need percussion loops with washy, dark, atonal cymbals and soft, dynamic, dissonant horn melodies for my beats.”

My Contribution

(AYN Sounds) Percussion loops, drum breaks.

“I need mixer presets that make my melodies more textural and mangle my drums beyond recognition.”

My Contribution

(AYN Sounds)

“I need a preset bank for one plugin, not a full mixer chain.”

My Contribution

(AYN Sounds) A SoundToys EffectRack bank, presets for that one plugin rather than a mixer preset built from several.

“My strings sound like five different libraries stapled together, can you make them sound like one recording?”

An ordered sequence of tools, set once and run across a whole project so every track gets the same treatment in the same order.

“I need retro, campy sound effects, think a 1960s evil-scientist laugh, an arcade power-up chime, that library-cue kind of energy.”

My Contribution

“I need a pack of sample compositions that sound like an early OS boot-up screen and menu.”

What a project can become.

Album sound paletteOne cohesive set of sounds and samples made for a whole record, so every track shares a sonic world.
Artist sound identityA signature set of sounds built around you, so your records are recognisable before the tag drops.
Sample library developmentBuilding a commercial pack end to end for a label or sound company, from concept to finished files.
Producer toolkitA personal library made to your workflow: drums, one-shots, MIDI and chains, organised how you work.
Game and interactive audioSound design for interfaces, actions and environments, delivered to spec.
Film and score supportOriginal cues, textures and instrumentation written to picture or to a composer's brief.

A project can combine Sound Design, Composition, and Production Assets rather than being one category. An album sound palette, for example, is usually all three at once.

03

How you can hire me.

Tell me what you're making and how much of it you need. I scope the price around the actual work, not a fixed menu.

Small custom request

A focused piece of work with a clearly defined scope: a handful of sounds, a short musical sketch, a small preset bank, a processing chain, or another similarly sized request.

Larger-scope work

Composition work, larger production-asset requests, and full projects. Quoted after we talk through what you actually need, how much of it, and how involved it is.

Typical scope, for reference
Sound Design
Sound design presetsaround 20 presets, any synthfrom $375
Composition
Original compositionone fully produced piecefrom $400
Sample remake / interpolationone trackfrom $350
String arrangementscaled to the scopefrom $350
Live instrumentationone part or sessionfrom $450
Additional productiona contribution to an existing trackfrom $150
Chord progressiona short idea to build aroundfrom $100
Musical sketcha small melodic ideafrom $150
Production Assets

Mixer preset packaround 20 presetsfrom $500
One-shot collectionaround 50 soundsfrom $450
Texture libraryaround 20 to 30 texturesfrom $300

These are starting points, not a fixed price list. The final quote depends on the scope and complexity of what you're actually asking for. Nothing starts before the price and timeline are settled.

03

We agree scope, timeline and price before anything starts.

04

I build everything from scratch.

05

You receive the deliverables, on the terms agreed up front.

06

Rights, revisions and ownership.

Is my project exclusive?

Unless otherwise agreed, all commissioned work is created specifically for the client and is not resold or reused elsewhere.

Can the work become a public product later?

Yes, by separate agreement. That can be a flat fee, an additional payment or a split, settled in writing before anything is released.

Who owns the files?

Ownership and usage are agreed before work begins and written into the scope. Nothing is assumed on either side.

Are revisions included?

Yes. The number of revision rounds is agreed as part of the scope, so you know what is covered before we start rather than after.

Can I use the work commercially?

Commercial use is standard for commissioned work. Any limits are stated in the scope up front.

Do you take freelance or company work?

Yes. Work for labels, sample companies and brands is welcome, and can be handled under your own terms and agreements.

How long does it take?

Focused commissions usually run in days. Larger projects are scheduled and quoted with a timeline agreed before starting.

What if the project is not a good fit?

I will say so early rather than take work I cannot do well. There is no obligation on either side until scope and price are agreed.

07

Recent client work.

“Huge fan of your FL Studio presets. Would you ever consider doing a custom pack of those?”

Grammy Nominated ProducerCustom 70s & 80s mixer preset pack, FL Studio

Twenty custom mixer presets built around reference soul ballads from the era, using Lexicon reverb, Pultec-style EQ and channel strip processing, with Patcher chains handling the mastering presets. Scoped, built and delivered inside a week.

“I saw your work online, you get so close to the sound of those old records, that whole era.”

Signed Recording ArtistSample remake and interpolation work, album cycle

An artist reached out about wanting samples remade so they could be sampled without clearing the original recording's publishing. That grew into an ongoing collaboration through their album cycle, several remakes and interpolations across different songs, revisions along the way, working out together what would and wouldn't need clearance, with stems and mix notes sent straight to the mixing engineer. We settled on a per-song advance plus a publishing split as we went. The tracks made the final album, with credit and payout running through the label at release.
